building the Revell 1/32 Stuka, but don’t know about aircraft interiors. What are the colors? I am an armor modeler, not much experience with aircraft. Any good references for german aircraft interior colors? I don’t want to add alot of expensive detail parts, just want to paint it accurately. Also, on the canopy, what is the color on the inside of the canopy supports?

Google a gold mine of info, I too am a dedicated armor builder, but have slowly been building more aircraft from nazi germany, as for the canopy it’s a safe bet to go with the main exterior color for the outside and a flat metal on the reverse, but you can google the “Screaming Stukka” and their is so much info out there on this awesome bird of war..
I’ll do some of my standard searching and check back with you later on what I find.

Hey Jack, I did a little searching and had a ton of returns on my google check, all I typed in was ” suka build” and “stuka bomber build” I added the word “build” in to my searches and that helps the search engine bring up modeling reference sites and modeling review sites, these are normally done by some of the best scale builders in the world, and they have done the research and keep their builds pretty accurate.
If you would like me to email you some of my links I use, send me a MSG to my email at:

Thank you so much, I am a North Africa war officienado. i model, diorama and study the NA theater, and so I got two stuka kits in 1:32 hoping to put them with my 1:35 kits and figures. And while I have researched alot of the detail on the armor, softskins and figures of the DAK, I just dont know alot about the aircraft and so I hope to make the kits work with the 1:35 scale vehicles and figures at least at a distance. So I thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge and experience.
